Ireland is Gorgeous.

Our first day in Ireland was a pretty long and exhausting one, especially with no sleep the night before, but we all survived. Luckily the hostel we are staying at is actually really nice and even has internet! This was probably the best piece of news for most everyone on the trip.

We started our day waiting in the airport
for hours f or the rest of our group to arrive. We were the first to arrive at 7 AM and I don't think we left until about 12:30, so it made for a long morning. Once we had most everyone we went and toured Bunratty Castle, which to be honest, as far as castles go it really wasn't that impressive. We've seen castles in Germany that are ten times as large, but this one was more a big house. But it was neat none the less, and they've set up an old time village around the castle which was fun to walk around. This little police man may or may not have had a slight crush on Hillary. We learned quickly that Ireland is not none for its warm summers. It's pretty much been raining the whole time, and we may not be totally prepared for cold weather. But because they get so much rain it is so green here. It's seriously amazing to drive through this country because it is just filled with green rolling hills. These pictures really don't do it any justice at all, but it's our attempt to show you what we're seeing!

Thanks for the updates. This is a welcome distraction for the research proposal that I am working on for class.
